One week later, here is another look at CHS Football’s final game of an incredible season.
Many Crusaders are being honored in these weeks for postseason honors after a 9-3 campaign that included winning the Monsignor Martin Athletic Association title – after the Crusaders had come up short the previous three years – by beating rival St. Joe’s for the 11th straight time and 20th time in the previous 21 games.
The season ended with an excellent state Catholic championship game between two of the very best programs in the state, with consensus state No. 1 Iona Prep prevailing, 42-26, after a back-and-forth first half.
Following that snowy state championship game, CHS Football’s Class of 2025 made one last “senior walk” from one end of Koessler Field to the other, where they met up with the Crusader underclassmen.
