Out in the high desert under the full moon that shone down on the Ponderosa Pines, yips rang out and clanking bottles of Crux, Deschutes and 10 Barrel echoed in the groves as Sadi Henderson stormed to victory in a far off place. ———————————————————————— After a hot start in the Bigger Friendly 600m, Sadi struggled through two subpar finishes in the succeeding races. Friday night, feeling confident, she let her teammates know a PR was possible and that they would shotgun beers if it happened. She took control down the homestretch and claimed victory for Bend’s runlittlewing team.
