Amrita Krishnan, M.D., executive medical director of hematology at City of Hope Orange County, is a world-renowned physician and researcher dedicated to transforming the lives of people with multiple myeloma — including that of her grateful patient, Todd Kennedy. At #ASH24 ash_hematology’s annual meeting, Dr. Krishnan presented her latest research advancements in multiple myeloma treatment. Her research on bispecific antibodies and talquetamab is bringing new hope to patients with limited options, paving the way for better outcomes and brighter possibilities. Dr. Krishnan’s work has led to significant increases in survival. She defines the role of optimal therapies after stem cell transplant and leads trials of new therapies. She has been instrumental in leading “first in human” trials of myeloma drugs, leading to FDA approval of four of them.
