In 2015, we welcomed a little ball of fur into our lives and named her Maxine. She quickly became my muse, and I shared our adventures on instagram as my creative escape. Life got even more interesting when I decided to take Maxine to work with me on the subway. Day one? A cop stopped us, handed me a ticket, and informed me that dogs needed to be in a carrier to ride.
