Coming off back-to-back road losses to Tennessee and Notre Dame, Syracuse bounced back Tuesday with its biggest win of the season. The Orange defeated UAlbany 102-85, led by freshman forward Donnie Freeman’s 24 points off the bench.
SU mounted an 11-point halftime lead, just its second double-digit lead at the half this season, and led by as much as 25 in the second half.
It’s SU’s first win since leading scorer J.J. Starling was ruled out indefinitely with a broken left hand.
