Earlier this year, in February, we tackled the iconic Tongariro Alpine Crossing in New Zealand’s North Island. Summer greeted us with a stunning twist—snow on the peaks! ❄️ Interestingly, this wasn’t our first attempt. Just a week earlier, we had to turn back right before the summit due to terrible weather. But persistence paid off, and the views of volcanic craters, emerald lakes, and rugged terrain were absolutely worth it. 🌋 Did you know?
