Okayplayer House presented by bet brought together a crowd in Miami for Art Basel that allowed us to focus on the Global Impact of Black Culture in our programming. Championing the lasting impression that the culture has served is important to us. We kicked off the day highlighting dannyhastings’ iconic photography in our “Latent Images” exhibit; learned more about him and derrickmilano during live tapings of ‘The Almanac of Rap’ with donwill ; had an insightful panel led by iamishasesay with kimepaige, jimmyakingbola, visfordonuts, and tjay on the global impact Of Black culture; and closed out the inaugural OKP House Art Basel experience at roosterovertown with an intimate dinner.
