Paul Carey heroics at both end of the pitch have helped Padraig Pearses to dominate Corofin in their Connacht quarter final. First he found the back of the net and then minutes later he cleared one off the line to help the Roscommon champions into a 1-8 0-3 lead at half time. Pearses would eventually win 2-10 0-10 but only after an almighty Corofin fightback ended by a last minute breakaway second goal.
