Both candidates in the GOP runoff for Alabama’s 5th have supported Trump’s false claims that the 2020 election was stolen. The same is true for Alabama Senate and Georgia’s 10th. So far this cycle, a large number of Big Lie believers have won their primaries. In fact, for elections that had been called through June 13, 52% of Republican nominees have either said the election was stolen or questioned the results.
