Through tales of love, survival and laughter, we explored the ties that bind us at Kalaa Utsavam. hum_theatre’s Train to Pakistan moved many of us with a story of love that endured amidst the turmoil of political unrest. rangashankara’s AHA! Theatre for Children brought to life an unyielding struggle between man and nature through stunning puppetry, reminding us of the universal human will to survive in a wordless, visual masterpiece. Living Ancestor by arunditha.emmanuel invited us to imagine new futures with the courage to question and redefine tradition. And Double Trouble united us through the universal joy of laughter with vikkals_vikram and iamjaggenius’s sharp wit and humour.
