To toast the season, we hosted a special soirée at the wsanyc Kitchen in Lower Manhattan overlooking the East River, The Brooklyn Bridge, and the Brooklyn skyline. Joining us were some of the chefs, bakers, makers, and culinary creatives who we’ve had the pleasure of working with this year on magazine stories, podcast episodes, and unforgettable events.
🥂Big thanks to our friends from 21seeds Infused Tequila for the evening’s signature sips! Guests enjoyed Blackberry Margaritas (21Seeds Cucumber Jalapeño Tequila, blackberry simple syrup, and fresh lime juice) and Espresso Martinis (21Seeds Valencia Orange-Infused Tequila, Espresso, Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur, and Chocolate Bitters) while catching up with each other. The hors d’oeuvres menu? Polpette (mini meatballs) with fig jus; deviled eggs with Szechuan chili mayo, trout roe, and chives; sweet potato and brown sugar gratin with avocado mousse and pickled chili; and gougères with black garlic and spinach....
