Today’s assignment: try to shoot a clean background. : I’ll be the first to admit I’m not the best at shooting sports photos with clean backgrounds, but I wanted to concentrate on that while shooting the Seattle Metro League cross country championships. : Having coached in the Metro League in my past life and being familiar with the championship meet course, I shot primarily from the upper part of the course, including at the top of the infamous “Metro Hill”, which I still have flashbacks of from my days at Franklin HS in the ‘70s. : Shout out to @rebecca_mehra for convincing me to come out to this meet, and to all the kids who ran today despite putting up with THE WORST air quality in the world in the days leading up to the meet. : ©️2022, Paul Merca.
