It’s no secret that cold weather affects bikes that live most of their lives outside in the elements, so it’s extra important to do a pre ride check in winter months. Always check tire pressure and the function of brakes and shifters. Take note of the battery level on e-assist bikes as batteries don’t charge as well in subfreezing temperatures.
