Today in Hip-Hop — Nas released his sixth studio album, ‘God’s Son.’ On December 13, 2002, Nas returned with ‘God’s Son.’ Following a whirlwind few months with a heated battle with Jay-Z, as well as the tragic loss of his mother, Nas noted that this was his “most personal album” and that he had poured his “heart and spirit into it.” The 14-track record featured appearances from Bravehearts, Alicia Keys, Claudette Ortiz of City High, Kelis, and even vocals from the late 2pac.
