Encircling the school with prayer! On the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, we came together as a school community on this chilly morning for a beautiful Eucharistic procession, led by Father McShurley. “O Holy Mother of God, through the miraculous image you left on the Tilma of St. Juan Diego, you brought millions of souls to faith in your Divine Son, and offered unity and peace where there was discord and strife. We ask your intercession for the Bishop O’Connell Community, that through our daily conversion of life, the Holy Spirit would bestow harmony and peace in our community, our families, and our hearts.” Special thanks to our local youth ministers who provided hot chocolate, cookies, and kind words for our students before they returned to classes.
