Fear is an interesting thing, often times it can be completely crippling to the psyche and the body. Then other times it can actually help us rise to completely new heights, mentally and physically. It’s all about how we choose to respond to that instance.
Over the last couple of years I’ve tried to take at least one solo trip a year where I’m completely out of my element. Whether that’s to a country that isn’t very English speaking friendly or a place that isn’t the most climate friendly, I do this to challenge my understand of “fear”. Through each trip I’ve realized “fear is just love in disguise”, or in other words, love from the other end of the spectrum. There can be no deep fear where there isn’t deep love.
