They have risen. Toronto FC 4-0 Charlotte FC. Michael Bradley saw his dad on the sidelines and decided he didn’t want to hear it on the car ride back anymore. Five games without a win prior to last night, but it was time for a change. Two for Bradley, one for Osorio, and one for the winger from Tuscany. Bernardeschi traded the black and white for a life in color, and it paid off within ten minutes of his debut in red. An assist to the captain and a missile to the bottom corner to open up his account on North American soil. Grazie Mille said Insigne, but let me add the final touches to this painting. Effortless back flick from him to Bradley, and the boys in red went into the locker room with four on the scoreboard. What a way to make a debut, and what a way to pull back the morale of a team that will be happy to finally see a glimpse of their glory days. Six points to the closest playoff spot don’t seem so far off now. The Italians have arrived.
