That’s two years in a row for MLS. It was all for bragging rights, though, but now it’s twice that they’ve defeated their LigaMX counterparts. A transfer window for the ages this summer, but it was the pioneers of this recent wave who led the charge. Vela put the MLS squad up early, and Ruidiaz bagged a second from the spot. Two of MLS’s best players in the last few years making their mark. A ‘Dos a Cero’ would’ve been too perfect, so Kevin Alvarez made sure to pull one back for LigaMX. With the Leagues Cup ready to launch in 2023, this might be the last time we see the two leagues face off in an All-Star match. For all of us who love North American soccer, we can count ourselves lucky to have even seen these two sides duke it out again. But let the record books show MLS came out on top. 📸: @morgantenczaphoto #mlsallstar #chicharito #carlosvela #taxifountas #raulruidiaz #mlssoccer #majorleaguesoccer #minnesotasoccer #allstargame #lafcsoccer #clubelevenmag
