RUN4SUDAN NOV2024🇸🇩 Sudan is being neglected and racism is a big part of it. Stories about Black people and African nations don’t get the same coverage or care from the media. Most people don’t even know the context because of the lack of global coverage.  It’s not enough for us to say, “I don’t know whats going on.”  But don’t get me wrong, we all start somewhere and if this sounds like you, let today be your day 1 of learning more about what’s happening.  Continue your advocacy, educate yourself, and share stories coming out from Sudan and continue to support events like this.  Don’t think what you do is too small—it’s not. Audre Lorde says Revolution isn’t a one-time thing. Change takes time, and it takes all of us working together. I believe real change only happens in community.  Let’s keep learning, keep talking, and keep showing up for those oppressed globally.
