Meet Krystal Lacayo, a new #UNC24 grad from Harrisburg, North Carolina. 🎓 🐏 Krystal majored in Environmental Studies with a Sustainability Concentration, and she minored in Urban & Regional Studies. What are you looking forward to after graduation? “I feel as though I have learned how to work with various communities in either an advocacy or teaching capacity, but I am excited at the prospect of not only taking my academics, but my drive for community building to other places and actualizing change. In addition, I am excited to rest and take up a new hobby like skating!” What are you going to miss about being a UNC student? “I am going to miss the physical proximity I have with my peers the most. Having friends, classmates, and team members all within a short walk or 5-minute drive has been a gift I haven’t taken for granted.
