On Monday, December 16, #NYRRRunfortheFuture celebrated their 2024 accomplishments at the annual Sneaker Ball! Program alumnae were joined by NYPD First Deputy Commissioner Tania Kinsella, program coaches, and NYRR staff to enjoy games, prizes, food, speeches, networking, and more fun as they collectively looked ahead to the opportunities to come in 2025. NYRR Run for the Future is a free program that introduces high school young women to the sport of running. Participants run their first 5K together and create connections that last beyond the program. They can also be part of a strong alumnae network while they continue their running journeys.
