Every year, each City of Buda department recognizes one outstanding employee that exemplified through their work and actions the City’s core values of Community, Resourcefulness, Integrity, Charm, and Service. Those City employees that have loyally served the community for a milestone number of years are also recognized at this time. In addition, the City Manager selects one employee each for three overall awards: The Service to the Community Award, the Customer Service Award, and the overall Employee of the Year for the entire organization.
