I think Heavyweights Cheesesteaks (heavyweightsnj) may be the new halal cheesesteaks prodigy & I know it’s not NYC, but it’s still closer than going all the way to Philly. 🙂‍↔️ Highly like the fact that they shave their own halal ribeyes in-house. Lots of places use the pre-packaged processed meats, and while those hit sometimes, you definitely get a nicer char and flavor profile here with the ribeyes. Unfortunately there is no seating inside, but there’s counter-top stand and eat or you will need to do take-out. Chicken is machine-slaughtered.
