'Tis the season... to gaze into the universe ✨⁣ ⁣ This star cluster resembles a cosmic wreath, with shining stars sparkling among festive clouds. We can see it here thanks to our NASAWebb and NASAChandraXRay telescopes, which are constantly looking out at distant galaxies from their place in space. Webb is at a stable position between the Sun and Earth, about 1 million miles away from us, while Chandra is orbiting Earth at an altitude of approximately 86,500 miles.⁣ ⁣ Neither telescope looks at the universe in visible light frequencies, so these infrared and X-ray observations have been shifted into colors we can see for this particular image.
