Today, we held our Fall Professional Development Day to ensure we consistently offer a high-quality learning experience. Faculty and staff participated in division-specific training and discussion in areas like empowering students as they develop executive functioning skills and defining consistent expectations for academic rigor. In the afternoon, a cohort of faculty led small group discussions in a “mini conference” about using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the classroom. Topics covered include how to use AI to increase efficiency, support student engagement, differentiate assignments, and give individualized feedback.
