The Georgia Court of Appeals has disqualified Fulton County DA Fani Willis from prosecuting Donald Trump in his state criminal case. What now? No matter how the DA spins it, this is a mess for the office. Especially when you consider at one point the case seemed like it was on a fast-track to go to trial this summer. That was until claims of an improper romantic relationship between Willis and her special prosecutor Nathan Wade. That technicality may ultimately be the cases undoing. To be clear, the court of appeals is not throwing out the case or saying it does not have merit. In fact she has a very good case. But all of that may not matter now.
