sportssdtourism Inducted aztecfootball Legend Ronnie Hillman into the San Diego Bowl Games Hall of Fame last night during the annual holidaybowl directors dinner.
During the 2010 Poinsettia Bowl, Hillman led San Diego State to a victory over Navy 34-14. He set a bowl record with 228 rushing yards, tied the record of three rushing touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown pass en route to winning the Offensive MVP honors.
Hillman was recognized and inducted by Brady Hoke, his head football coach at San Diego State University. Accepting the award on his behalf, was his mother Tiffany and his son Isaiah. A dozen
#AztecsForLife who played with Ronnie also attended the event.
*I was a freshman when Ronnie was at SDSU. I have many very fond memories of watching him play. I was friends with many of his teammates. It was my great honor to be able to photograph his induction into the San Diego Bowl Games Hall of Fame.
