So rather than put the four band members on the front of the first Queen album, I just, I thought it would be nice just to have Freddie as a symbol, like the figurehead on a boat, on a ship, maybe a Viking ship used to have an effigy of a woman on the front. I thought of Freddie in that, and I found this picture of him onstage, which Doug had taken standing in a spotlight.
