The winner from season 1 of "Squid Game," Player 456, is back for season 2 and says that his character is darker and more serious this time around. The new season will follow winner Seong Gi-hun returning three years later with the purpose of putting an end to the game and protecting the other players. Actor Lee Jung-jae also hopes to prompt introspection with the character’s revival, as he says that the role has helped him look inwards as well. “I hope that people watching the show would also have some time to reflect on human nature and think about whether we are on the right path — if we are on the path to making the world a better place, or are we going the other way around,” Lee said.
