Spent my birthday weekend in New Orleans! So excited to share all the food and drinks we had — starting with Day 1! 🥳💜 We obviously had to start the trip with beignets. Our first stop was Cafe Beignet, and spoiler… they ended up being my favorite of the trip! We took them to-go and enjoyed them in Jackson Square before exploring the French Quarter. Such a perfect start to the day! For dinner, we went to Bacchanal Wine Bar which was the cutest spot! They had live music and a lovely patio. We shared the orecchiette pasta and shrimp which were so yummy. Love that we got to act like locals for the night. Earlier in the day, we also shared a seafood platter at Cafe Maspero. Day 1 was so much fun and I can’t wait to share Day 2! 🤩 xo
