Ryan graduated from Purdue in 2014 with a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Genetics and a M.S. in Science and Medical Journalism in 2016. During his time at Purdue, Ryan was involved in Alpha Lambda Delta Phi Sigma National Freshman Honor Societies, Biology Club, Cru, Purdue Science Student Council, and the Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board.
