Austin graduated from Purdue in 2017 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. During his time at Purdue, he was involved in Purdue Pilots Inc., Pi Kappa Alpha, Best Buddies, Representatives for Inter-Fraternal Social Education, the Association of Mechanical and Electrical Technologists, the Purdue Scholarship Ambassador Program, Purdue Catholic Students, and intramural sports.
