The Richmond County School System (RCSS) has grown in every category of the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI), Georgia’s accountability system for K-12 schools that measures academic achievement and readiness for college or career. The Georgia Department of Education released CCPRI scores on Friday, December 6.
This year’s results show RCSS improving in all measured components of the CCRPI with the most notable growth occurring in the Closing Gaps category, with average increases of 21% for elementary and middle schools and 40% for high schools.
Other highlights from the 2024 CCRPI report include:
- Content Mastery (Georgia Milestones test scores): Schools saw gains across all grade levels for the third consecutive year.
- Progress (academic growth percentiles): Schools saw growth in all academic subjects.
