Two remarkable icons of Italian automotive history are set to grace The Grand Palais Sale on 6 February. First, the 1955 Ferrari 555 Supersqualo, chassis #FL9001, is offered at no reserve. Raced by Scuderia Ferrari in the 1955 Formula One World Championship, it was driven by legends like Piero Taruffi, Olivier Gendebien, and Mike Hawthorn. At season's end, it became one of just two Supersqualos modified for Formula Libre racing. Next, also offered at no reserve, the 1950 Ferrari 166 MM Barchetta Touring, chassis #0034 M, delivered new to Count Paolo Marzotto. Its illustrious racing history spans events like the Mille Miglia, Monaco Grand Prix, Giro di Sicilia, and Coppa d’Oro. Later piloted by Charles Pozzi in Mille Miglia Storica events during the 1980s and 1990s, it has remained under single ownership since 1994. FINAL CALL FOR CONSIGNMENTS | LINK IN BIO The Grand Palais, Paris The Grand Palais Historique #Bonhams #BonhamsCars #GrandPalaisSale #Ferrari #Formula1 #F1 #Gra...
