ℹ️ A driver’s No. 1 mechanic holds a number of important responsibilities, but one crucial task is ensuring the driver safely exits the garage and enters the fast lane. Once they are sure the car is mechanically ready, the No. 1 will get confirmation from the race engineer when it’s time to head out on track.
