German police have arrested a man who threatened a knife attack at a Christmas market, just days after five people were killed in a car rampage. In a widely shared video, the man said: ‘On December 25, I'll go to the Christmas market here in Bremerhaven and stab anyone who looks Arabic or southern. Anyone. I'll take enough knives. This is not a joke. I'll stab anyone who looks Arabic. This finally needs to end here in Germany. I don't have any relatives, I live alone, I am alone— I could just as well be dead or in prison.’ The suspect was quickly identified and arrested by police in the northern port city of Bremerhaven after concerned residents reported the video. This comes three days after Taleb al-Abdulmohsen, 50, allegedly rammed his car into a Christmas market crowd in Magdeburg, killing five people and injuring more than 200 others. #news #germany #christmasmarket #magdeburg
