If I’m raising awareness and speaking openly about the issues, it’s also fair that I share the positives. Most people who I speak to within the community don’t want to be mentioned. They don’t want to openly endorse what I’m sharing. And while I don’t excuse it, I understand it. I come from that community and I know what it costs to speak openly about the issues. But individually, there are prominent members in the community who aren’t trying to shut me down. Ago agree that what I’m doing is important. Who, even if they don’t agree with everything I say and do, also don’t disagree... And that gives me hope. I hope it does that for you too. Were making a crack. This is how change happens.
