You guys, this vegan lasagna was the best lasagna I’ve ever had in my life! I made lasagna for Thanksgiving and went straight home to figure out a better, easier way to make it. And it turned out INCREDIBLE.
I’ve been working on lasagna for years and years. I’ve always known my flavors were spot on, but the topping. The TOPPING! I wanted to replicate that beautiful browning effect that’s so hard to achieve for dairy free casseroles. And I’ve finally done it!
I have so many secrets to this vegan lasagna, but, in sum, it includes the following six (6) components:
Red Sauce
Pasta
Ricotta Mixture
Italian Sausage Mixture
Tempura Battered and Panko Crusted Eggplant
Cheesy Béchamel
