From October 18th to November 1st, Bow Seat’s Partnerships and Youth Engagement Director, Jeremy, represented Bow Seat at the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). This year, the 16th Conference of Parties (COP 16) was held in Cali, Colombia where governments and organizations from around the world came together to figure out how to move forward with managing and protecting the world’s biodiversity.
Jeremy participated in the CBD’s Education and Oceans Day with many partners that Bow Seat hopes to collaborate with in the future. Additionally, Jeremy met with and provided Bow Seat youth art to representatives of the National Nature Assessment, UNESCO, Rare, the Iris Project, and several other organizations that Bow Seat has or is hoping to work together with.
Jeremy also organized an art exhibition at the Cali Natural History Museum, which is the first Bow Seat exhibition in South America. This exhibition is still open to the public until the end of February.
