I’ve promised my kids a couple years ago we would have a one on one trip together. I should first say, for years of saying no to Lilah joining a travel soccer team (parents when you know, you know 🧭 💰 ), but she never stopped asking—her biggest dream and only thing she’s ever asked for! I caved this year.🌟 As a result, she’s been crushing it as the only girl on the team this last season, and when they announced a trip to Portugal this summer 2025, I knew this could be it, but kept it to myself. I told her months ago, this wasn’t happening. She clearly understood the reasons why and didn’t bring it up. Despite the challenges and costs, I’m the proudest dad to surprise her with this amazing adventure! 🇵🇹 #portugal #fatheranddaughtertime
