This week, we’ve been participating in NCAA diversity and inclusion week. Today’s theme is “Strength in Unity.” As a team, we commit to working together to promote diversity and inclusion throughout the year by holding biweekly diversity meetings. In these meetings, we discuss many different current topics such as diversity, LGBTQ+, women’s rights, human rights, and so much more. Not only do we discuss these topics, but we formulate ideas on how we as individuals and a team can combat these issues. AUWS is committed to creating a more inclusive environment on our team, at our school, and in the community. 🤍
