2024 in Review ✈️⚽️ This year represented a make-or-break moment for this project. Would the soccer community embrace my content niche of finance, travel, & politics? Would we gain attention from legacy & alternative media? Would I personally be able to continue TravelFutbolFan? The answers weren’t clear-cut. Content creating on an event years away was challenging as sometimes there would be times where no information was available. My political commentary was always targeted as “too woke” and was told countless times to “stick to soccer.” The host committees also seemed like they weren’t ready to collaborate with creators like myself, so the thinking was, why would the media report on my preparations? Pero look what was achieved: the community grew to over 50,000 followers across all socials. I was featured by the Wall Street Journal and by Discover Financial. I appeared on multiple podcasts to share my approach to the upcoming tournaments. And regardless where the TikTok ban goes...
