🎉 State Chair Spotlight: Connecticut’s Ryan Gleason 💪 Since 2004, Ryan has been a driving force in powerlifting, starting with backyard events and joining USAPL in 2011. He’s been instrumental in growing the sport in Connecticut, hosting the state’s first meet in 2014 with just 15 lifters. Fast forward to 2023, Connecticut now boasts 10 meets and over 500 lifters annually! 🏋️‍♂️ For Ryan, the joy comes from giving athletes a solid, fun place to compete and grow in the sport.
