We're thrillified to announce one of the recipients of June’s Elphie Awards, Jeanine Tesori! Jeanine is a renowned composer, arts advocate, founder of A Broader Way, and current Tony Nominee for Best Score for @akimbomusical. Wicked’s very own Wizard, Stephen Schwartz says: “Jeanine is arguably the most important female composer working in the theater today. Whether she is writing musicals, opera or working on musical films, in addition to her talent and creativity, her boundless energy, enthusiasm for collaboration and fierce advocacy for artists makes her more than deserving of an Elphie Honor. Also, her co-founding of A Broader Way with our very own Green Girl, Idina Menzel, has ensured that generations of young women have access to arts programming." #WICKED20 #ElphieAwards
