The first space I ever turned into a home. If there’s one thing about my first apartment that was shocking was the cost of furnishing. Nothing could have prepared me for the gasps I would let out lol. I took this as an opportunity to create a calm minimalist space that could let my ever busy mind have place to slow down. I had my plants, my records and myself and that was more than enough. I decorated with pieces from my travels and a mix of film photos from old family albums and shots I’d taken with my film cameras since I was 15. It was all the things I loved the most. It made me feel loved and safe, after all that’s what a home is🤍 I owe so much of my personal growth to this apartment and will always cherish the walls that witnessed a snippet of my story. 💭What shocked you about your first apartment?
