One of my favorite parts of the season is Bowl season—and this year, I’ve been fortunate enough to combine my love for football with something even more meaningful. Through my work with the Gator Bowl, I got connected with Dreams Come True, an amazing organization that helps make kids’ dreams a reality. I’ve had the privilege of helping two incredible kids so far. For Jack, a young FSU fan who’s going blind, I was able to take him to his first FSU football experience. And for Luke, who has autism and cerebral palsy and loves HBCU bands, I helped bring that dream to life too. It’s surreal to live these moments, especially since I get to relive those “firsts” over and over again through their eyes. And while I always try to stay tough, there’s no doubt that these experiences bring tears to my eyes from time to time. But more than anything, I do it all with one goal in mind: to make the world a better place for my kids. They may not fully understand it yet, but I hope they see me as some...
