Many schools say they encourage their students to have diverse and varied interests outside the classroom. At Tatnall, our Hornets exemplify that it's more than a marketing pitch. On Saturday, November 4th, our Hornets were champions in multiple sports. The football team defeated Wilmington Charter 52-0 to capture the first 1a District 1 Title in the history of the school. Later that day, the girls' cross country team won the New Castle County Championship, and the boys finished an impressive second. But the day wasn't over yet. Runners, cheerleaders and football players rushed from their post-game speeches and victory celebrations to get into costume and makeup, where they wowed a packed house in the Performing Arts Center with a show-stopping evening performance of "Mean Girls" - a hilarious musical cautionary tale. On the field, on the course, on the stage, and in the classroom, the Tatnall School provides our Hornets with every opportunity to thrive and succeed at the highest level...
