The Free Black Womenโs Library ๐
thefreeblackwomenslibrary is a free community space and library based in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. There are free public programs, a backyard garden, a free store, a period pantry, over 5,000 books written by black women and black non-binary folks, book swaps and so much more.
The library and space is open to people of all ages, races, and genders to come and check out the collection, enjoy the space, and trade books.

The Library was founded by OlaRonke Akinmowo in 2015 and started as a mobile library.
