How can we ensure that storied communities thrive amidst urban transformations? ULI’s Advisory Services Program, in partnership with @ulidfw, @cityoffortworth, and @fwhcc,
sought to answer this during their recent visit to Fort Worth. Their expert panel provided recommendations to support the Northside and Historic Marine neighborhoods as the Panther Island project progresses, which will create over 300 acres of riverwalk development and protect 2,400 acres from flooding.
“The idea is to take the best practices to create a roadmap for smart development that lasts generations,” said Omar Gonzalez, chair of the ULI advisory service program.
Their insights emphasize preserving the neighborhood’s cultural identity, enhancing affordable housing, and engaging residents in the development process. 🔗 Check out the project's overview at the link in our bio and be on the lookout for the upcoming report!
