This year has been particularly eventful for our Future Blue Youth Council (FBYC), as we’ve continued to expand our impact through creativity, education, and collaboration. The mosaic of impact we’ve created reflects the many ways FBYC members have inspired and empowered others—through writing blogs on critical environmental issues, engaging audiences on social media, and mentoring True Blue Fellowship grantees. One of many inspiring efforts this year is the Climate Literacy initiative in Nigeria, led by FBYC member Keren-happuch Garba. Faced with low climate awareness in her community, she organized workshops in local schools, using interactive sessions to bridge knowledge gaps and inspire action. Her project showcases how youth-led initiatives can tackle global challenges and drive change at the community level.
